Quick stop in Florence
The location is central - walking distance from the center. The room is spacious and the breakfast good enough for an American-Italian couple. Most importantly they have a reception dog so that’s BIG bonus.
The walls and doors are a bit thin so you can hear people in the hallway.

Good
The staff were the best very welcoming and helpful. The location was great by the US consulate, and next to the river.
We had a room adjoining another with only a thin door between. The neighbors came home late and were excited and loud and there's nothing wrong with that. But I was sleeping and was woken till wee hours of the night. The hotel was dated and in need of updating.
